Wednesday morning August 14th, M got a phone call at about five minutes to 6 am telling her that Aunt S was heading to the hospital to have her babies.
While M waited to hear word, she had some other twins visit her at work. This is the second time this pair had been around, but this time they ventured a little closer.
Aunt S holding L&L. They were born naturally with no surgery needed and were both just under 5 pounds at 35 weeks. They are identical twins and were the same height and head circumference at birth. So that they could gain weight, learn to eat properly and stabilize their breathing while sleeping, they stayed in the hospital for one day shy of 3 weeks. They had monitors on them, but didn't need outside intervention for breathing.

Luckily the oldest has a little birthmark over her nose so that they can be identified easily at first glance.
