Slides and water

I've been begging to try out the Rainbow Slide in EP for at least 2 summers.  M finally gave in this year.  It was a ton of fun.  But C wasn't quite heavy enough and had to push herself on the ridge.

One warm Saturday afternoon, we took a picnic lunch to the old fairgrounds and spent an hour or so playing in the water.  Not only the fountains,

but this time M let us play in the river. 

I even got brave enough to float downstream to where M was waiting to catch me.  Just beyond where M was waiting the water got really deep and the older kids were jumping off the high wall into the river.  So I didn't want to go too far.
