Sibling Skiing

In addition to all the skiing M did with us girls, she also got a few days with her siblings.  In February, she had a 24 retreat to go to but had a few hours in the morning to spend on the slopes.

The next afternoon, Uncle W and M met up again and did some cross-country skiing before he had to go to work and M had to come home.

Then the first week of March Aunt M and Aunt R came out for their birthdays for a weekend of skiing and sibling fun!  After a late night arrival the drive over to SMR was a slow drive due to an overnight ice and snow storm.  Then 5 hours at Winter Park skiing followed by 3 hours of night skiing at Granby Ranch.  Needless to say and quiet night in the lodge room playing games was just what was prescribed.

Sibling love!!

The last time Aunt R had been skiing!!!

Even though we were supposed to be skiing, we had to hike twice.  Once when a lift on the edge of the property broke down and we had to hike back up to the next lift.  And then the second day, W convinced the girls to go to the Expert Only--hike a mile--Bowl.  Although maybe not quite worth the mile hike, the powder was deep and the run was wonderful!
