Summer Tubing Hill

We don't typically stay at SMR during the summer months, but with Uncle W being there we decided to go enjoy a weekend with him.  Since it was a busy weekend, we could only go for Friday night.  We spent some time playing at the park.

We played some mini golf with Uncle W.

The real reason Uncle W was so eager for us to come visit him is the new Tubing Hill that opened at SMR.
Uncle W and us at the top of the hill.  It is a carpet material with water misting out on it.  It is similar to what jump skiers use to practice their tricks during the summer months.
Waiting patiently for my turn.

We were the first ones in line for our session!

View from the top!
C had to go down with an adult, so the first time down she went with M.
I got to choose.  So sometimes I went down by myself and other times went down with an adult.
The best part...we didn't have to climb the hill back up for more rides.  The magic carpet did the work for us!

All of us enjoying our time!

The perfect T-shirt for a winter adventure.  Frozen!!
Uncle W with the flowers he was in charge of picking out and planting all summer!

After an adventure filled morning, we enjoyed some pizza before leaving to go on other adventures!

Borrowed camera--views from a 4 year old!!!

C borrowed M's camera.  Here's the most important things from the eyes of a four-year old.
Obviously feet are very important!!
Everyone likes a good nighlight!
You can't have a good lounge chair without the latch!!
Not sure why the toothbrush is on the floor, but it is a pretty purple princess brush!
There's the pretty face of the camera thief!!
Pretty toes!
And that toothbrush again!!
In addition to her camera thief talents, C was practicing her writing....but with a permanent marker on our kitchen table.  M&D weren't very happy, but at least we know she knows how to write her families' names.

Summer picnic fun

Every summer we go to D's company picnic in July.  This year they had a trike race.  C and M went on one.
I raced around the loop three or four times before we moved onto another adventure.
After eating, we played on the bouncy houses and obstacles courses.

We enjoyed some cold treats.
Then we played some more games.

If you see this couple, watch out.  They are a dangerous couple of girls!!!
We ended the day with a little train ride.

Summer Sleepover

This summer we had two sleepovers with friends.  The first time we went to Estes Ark after day camp.  It is always a favorite location as it has lots of stuffed animals to look at.

We had a campout downstairs with our tents.
The next morning we played with our pop rocks from the Fourth of July.

Later in the summer, we had another sleepover with another friend.  We spent some time making crafts.
The next day, we went to the train park and the lake to swim.

We enjoyed some ice cream from the ice cream truck as it drove through the park.
