Christmas in NJ

We spent a week in NJ for Christmas.  We arrived Christmas Eve and stayed through the first of the year.  Highlights of course included opening presents Christmas morning!

Grandpa took us on a hike in the county park one afternoon, while Grandma was working.

We helped pick carrots from the garden.

We went to the Jersey shore and the Aquarium at the boardwalk.

The biggest event was heading into NYC and watching the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.

After the Rockettes and a bite of lunch, we headed to the Intrepid and Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Once it got dark, we went to see the Macy's window display.

We relaxed at home some, hanging out and playing games.

One of our last days we went to the NJ Children's museum and had a gorgeous picture of NYC skyline.

Notice Statue of Liberty behind the tree to our left.  So close, yet a harbor away.
One of the coolest features was the hanging climbing gym.  It hung from the third level over the rest of the museum.  Very fun to climb in.

New Year's Eve was spent attempting to get as close as we could to Times Sqaure and watch the ball drop.  We ended up closer to Central Park, but it was a good time!
