Year in review!!

I logged in this morning and realized the last time I had updated anything was in early January with pictures from last fall.  So I'm a whole year behind.  I figure I will do a few updates to catch us back up from highlights and some random pics.  This will get me up to date, as I am sure I will have plenty of pictures of Annalee to share once tomorrow arrives!!
A lot has happened this year.  The week after my last updates our camper was broken into and both ATVs were stolen.  Then within a month we found out we were pregnant with little girl #3.  Brian has been busy studying for his certification for work, which meant that we got to travel with him to Anaheim in April.  We didn't do as much camping this summer with the expanding baby bump, but we got some play in this summer.  Hope you enjoy our condensed year in review!

School activities

Just a few pictures of class projects to finish up second grade for B.

Bennett preschool had their spring fundraiser to raise money for books, so the theme the whole night was story time.

Kindergarten round-up day was a success for C.

In the fall, her picture was gracing the school entryway.

In order to be ready for kindergarten, C had to graduate from Preschool.

Last day of After-school programming for the spring.

Right into the first day of school.

Both B&C had the same Kindergarten teacher.

Art and Music

This spring we tried ballet and tap dance just to do something different.  Tap dance was by far the favorite of the two dances.

Then of course we had to end the school year with a little gymnastics.

Grammy Cindy started giving B piano lessons in June.

C felt left out so in September she had a lesson also.

In May, the Y After-school program with the help of the Craft & Design Center Manager, painted and sold their artwork at silent auction.

Even C got in on the action of bidding!!

Brave enough to go off the high dive.

C gave us a scare last year when she was having severe abdominal pain.  After rushing to the ER and getting some fluids and pain meds in her she seemed to feel better.  The diagnosis was severe constipation, but it was scary there for a moment.

...and late as you can see by the clock it was after midnight before they released her.  Luckily she was able to sleep!

Brileigh also had a surgery in November.  Dental surgery to snip the skin between the gum and upper lip.  She did wonderful and got a special treat from the dentist for being a star patient.

The girls got an Olaf waffle maker for Christmas.  The first time using it, we had Olaf melted!!

Daddy was working on a puzzle, so both girls had to get puzzles out and work on them too.

C was pretty good with them.

Camp-out in the basement!!

Mealworms that B raised at school.  Somehow though being repeatedly told not to, they somehow made it out of school and home with us.
