Disney Fun

Of course we couldn't go out to CA without taking in Disney!  Since we had gone last year, M&D decided to take a little more time this year and really enjoy it.  Besides M&D figured that C was tall enough to go on the big rides.  However, after trying to go on the new Car ride and C not being allowed because she was about 1/2 too short, we spent the rest of the day on the family rides and went straight to the shoe store after the park closed to get some boots that would help C raise an inch!

The second day L joined us.

After lunch, Aunt S, Uncle S and the twins joined us for an afternoon of fun.
Since C was now tall enough to enjoy the "big" rides, we took L and Uncle S on Splash Mountain!
C was all ready! However the fourth time we went on the ride and she finally got really wet, her first words after the ride to M were, "I don't like Splash Mountain and I don't love it either!"
The big adventure courtesy of Splash Mountains timed camera!  I had the front seat and that is true terror!  I loved it!
What a thrill!
Sleeping babies!  M watched them for a while, so that Aunt S could go on some rides with everyone.

Our last ride of the night was the Nemo Submarine ride.  With all the noise and echo of the enclosed space, the girls woke up and were NOT happy!

My favorite ride was the Matterhorn.  The height requirement was two inches higher than most other rides, so C couldn't go on it.  In other words, it was a ride I got all to myself with M or D--and we went on it 3 times.  While I was enjoying the Matterhorn with M, C and D went on Star Tours and C was the rebel spy--during the ride a random passenger is photographed and their picture put on the screen for everyone to see and C happened to be the lucky one on their ride!

Then we went to visit Pixie Hollow.

After visiting Pixie Hollow, we went to Minnie and Mickey's houses.

The changing of the guards at It's a Small World!
Enjoying a western BBQ lunch.

After 4 days, we were pretty wore out.  We did all the rides at least twice and most three or four times!  It was a great few days!

M's little mice!
