Growing girls

 Look how much the tree and myself have grown.

 Such a big 7 year old.

 And a growing 4 1/2 year old sister!

Birthday

I had a water themed birthday party this year.  I had a few friends over to play in the backyard with water.  We had the slide, the pool, the pirate ship and the bouncy house to play in.

 L&L from CA even showed up for my birthday party.

 L1 wasn't quite sure what to think of the bouncy house!

 When the boys came, our water balloon game became a full on water fight!

 It was a small group of friends, but we had lots of fun.

First Sleepover

Last year in July I had my very first sleepover at a friend's house.  It was a last minute adventure so that I could go to the rodeo in town.

 This year the night before my birthday party, we had that same friend over to our house for a sleepover.

 We had a camp out in the basement.

 For lunch on Saturday, we made our own pizza!

 Yum, so good!!

Cousin Fun

While G&G were visiting us, we invited Cousin T up with his boys for supper.

After supper we played in the bouncy house.

And ran around the yard, enjoying an evening of fun with cousins.

Father's Day

For Father's Day weekend  G&G came out to visit us. C was such a big help at the airport, helping G carry his suitcase.

We hung out at home for a couple days and then headed up to the mountains to go camping.  We found a really gorgeous spot with a swollen creek running by.

The first night, Uncle W came to join us and took G skiing, so the rest of us went on a ride.

We went to an old mine settlement, and were very interested in the deep well we found.

We rode with G and P for a while.

When G and Uncle W came home from skiing, they took the bikes out for a short ride and saw some moose by the creek.

Sunday morning we gave D his card and t-shirt.

C had to show him exactly how we made it for him.

During the heat of the day we cooled off near the creek.

The top of the mountain was a cold and windy ride!

Uncle L threw a copper pipe in the fire and we had fun watching all the changing colors.
